No Injuries Reported After Mahanoy Area School Bus Crash near Frackville




No injuries were reported after a school bus crash near Frackville.
According to Frackville Police, on Wednesday morning a Mahanoy Area bus driver was transporting students to Vo-Tech on Route 924 just outside Frackville.

For unknown reasons, the bus veered off the roadway to the right striking and travelling along an embankment and knocking over a sign before coming to a stop.

The driver and students were not injured in the crash.  Police said school nurses from Mahanoy Area evaluated the students.

The bus sustained body damage as well as a damaged tire and required towing from the scene.

Route 924 was restricted to one lane while the scene was cleared.

Also assisting police at the scene was the Mahanoy Plane fire department.
