The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a report of a crime by deception.
According to State Troopers from Schuylkill Haven, a 70 year old woman from South Manheim Township was defrauded out of $10,000 back in April.
The woman reported it to police in June.
The victim told police that she sent the money through a Bitcoin Accounty.
Troopers say the investigation is ongoing.
