The 2021 Doggie Swim Party will be held on August 28th and 29th from 11:00am until 4:00pm at the JFK Pool in Pottsville. Cost is $8.00 per dog. People are free.
In addition to the Doggie Swim, there will be a gift auction, with a selection of great items including dog toys, gifts and a membership to the Dog Park. You can browse and purchase tickets anytime until 2 PM on Sunday, August 29th when winning tickets will be drawn.
People can also vote for the “Top Dog 21”. Vote for your favorite dog from a great selection of twenty-Eight contestants. In addition to the title of “Top Dog”, the winner receives a trophy, cash prize and a free membership to the dog park. The Top Dog will also act as a representative of the park at special events throughout the year. Votes cost $1 and will be accepted until 12:30 PM on Sunday, August 29th. Top Dog will be crowned at 1 PM.
The Concession stand will be open on Saturday and Sunday with a variety of food, drinks and snacks available. Memberships to the park will also be available. All proceeds from the event benefit the Dog Park.
