A Saint Clair man died Friday after being struck by a vehicle in Washington Township.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, the incident occurred around 4:10pm, Friday, near the Red Lion Cafe at 697 Deturksville Road in Washington Township near Pine Grove.
Police say a man was walking across the roadway when he was struck by a Kia Sportage being driven by a 53 year old man from Pine Grove.
According to the Schuylkill County Coroner's Office, the victim, identified as George W. Wolff, 88, of Saint Clair, was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:52pm by Deputy Coroner Ken Hubble.
The driver of the Kia, who has not been identified, also suffered minor injuries in the crash.
