The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating an incident where a homeowner was defrauded out of money by a chimney cleaning service.
According to Troopers, on December 30th, 2021, police responded to Circle Drive in Pine Grove Township for a theft of services.
The victim told Troopers that he paid the owner of Dr. Chimney $1,090 electronically to perform chimney maintenance in September and the job was never started.
