Harriett M. Schablein-Derr, 71, of New Ringgold, passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 18, at Orwigsburg Center, Orwigsburg.

Born Aug. 13, 1950, in Yonkers, N.Y., where Harriett said the most beautiful women are born, she was a daughter of Robert and Anne Louise (Giammette) Schablein.

She lived in Yonkers for 10 years before moving to Costa Mesa, Calif., where she resided for 30 years. She worked at Amelia's Restaurant on Balboa Island, Calif.

She was the wife of Ronald J. Derr. After meeting, they purchased a farm in Molino, where they spent 32 years living their dream of the farm life.

She is survived by a cousin, Carlo Giammette, Mexico.

She loved her Morgan horses and doing dog agility training. She was a member of the Dauphin County Dog Training Club. She also loved doing therapy work with her dog, Charlie.

Services and interment will be held privately.

Patrick J. Love
, 60 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospice Bethlehem.

Born Sunday, July 23, 1961 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Patrick and Barbara Puchinsky Love of Tamaqua. In addition to his parents are; his wife, Sheralee Wilson; brothers, Terry Love of Tamaqua, Sean F. Love and his wife Renee of Tampa, FL.; nephews, Bryce, and Ty Love.

Pat was predeceased by his sister, Deborah Love in 1983.

Catholic by faith, Pat worked at the former Tamaqua Cable, and Triangle Furniture Store. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tending to his garden. Pat pickled and canned his harvest sharing it with friends, and neighbors. Pat enjoyed fishing trips to Canada. Pat enjoyed the companionship of his cats, Crazy Cat, and Stella, and deeply missed his beagles Tia, and Meg.

A Celebration of Pat's Life will be held on Friday February 25, 2022 at 11 o'clock A.M. from the funeral home. Friends may call from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.

Interment will be in St. Jerome's R.C.C. Cemetery, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
