Butler Township/Ashland Police Investigating Case of Animal Cruelty After Dog Found with Bullet Wound


Police in Ashland and Butler Township are investigating a case of animal cruelty after a dog was found with a bullet wound.

According to Police, the dog in the photograph was found on Woodland Heights Road, near Big Mine Run in Butler Township with a bullet wound.  The dog had ran loose from a home on Walnut Street in Ashland.

The dog was taken to an emergency veterinarian in Harrisburg to be treated and is now home.
