A woman and a man were taken into custody after a stabbing and a standoff in Shenandoah on Friday.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, around 7:40am, Friday morning, Troopers responded to 116 North Bower Street for a reported stabbing.

Upon arriving at the scene, Troopers learned that a 44 year old male had been stabbed by Angelina Velousky, 26, of Shenandoah, during an altercation.

Attempts to locate Velousky turned up negative and an arrest warrant was issued for her arrest.  Additionally a search warrant was obtained for the address.
