The Pottsville Police have issued an arrest warrant for a 19 year old they say raped a minor last year.
According to Police, a felony arrest warrant has been issued for Ryan John Matukewicz, 19, of Minersville, as a result of an investigation that was referred to city police in February of 2022.
The investigation by Detective Joseph Welsh showed that Matukewicz had sexually assaulted a 13 year old female during the summer of 2021.
Matukewicz has been charged with Rape, Statutory Sexual Assault, Indecent Assault and Corruption of Minors.Police have been unable to locate Matukewixz and are asking anyone with information as to his current location is asked to contact police at (570) 628-3792 or (570) 622-1234 ext 1333.
