Mahanoy City Police Seek Suspect Wanted for Arson

The Mahanoy City Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man that is wanted for arson.

Police say Vanardi Legrand, 68, is wanted by Mahanoy City Police and has an active warrant for 2 counts of Felony Arson, Felony Criminal Mischief, Risking Catastrophe, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Disorderly Conduct for an incident that occurred on July 15th, 2022.

Legrand is believed to be driving a green or dark colored 2011 Ford Focus with an unknown North Carolina registration. Legrand is also believed to be living out of his car. 

Anyone with information or the know about of Legrand is asked to call police or 911. Legrand may be in the Northern Schuylkill County or the Hazleton area.
