Pennsylvania State Police Seize More Than $18 Million In Illegal Drugs In Second Quarter Of 2022

 


According the Pennsylvania State Police, over $18 Million worth of drugs were seized by Troopers in the second quarter of 2022.
Statewide, Troopers say they seized $18.6 million worth of cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamines, and other illicit drugs during the months of April, May, and June.

Over the course of those 3 months, PSP seized nearly 170 pounds of cocaine, 308 pounds of methamphetamines, 138 pounds of fentanyl, and over 46,000 opioid pills.  During this quarter alone, Troopers seized nearly double the number of opioid pills that were collected in all of 2021.
