On his first full day in office, Governor Josh Shapiro announced that effective immediately, 92 percent of state government jobs - about 65,000 positions - do not require a four-year college degree.

The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) announced troopers seized more than 108 pounds of cocaine, 144 pounds of methamphetamines, 85 pounds of fentanyl, and over 65,000 pills of assorted narcotics and other illicit drugs in the third quarter of 2022.

Pennsylvania State Police Welcomes 59 New Troopers


Colonel Robert Evanchick, commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Police, announced on Thursday that 59 cadets graduated from the State Police Academy in Hershey and have been assigned to troops across the commonwealth. The men and women represent the 162nd graduating cadet class.
