North Schuylkill Aevidum Club Uses Positive Messages to Raise Awareness for National Suicide Prevention Week

During Friday's High School Football game, North Schuylkill's Aevidum Club used positive messages to help spread awareness for National Suicide Prevention Week.

Aevidum Clubs have been a nationwide movement that started in Lancaster County, after students lost a classmate to suicide.

Several Schuylkill County School Districts including North Schuylkill have organized an Aevidum Club, spreading the message of "I've got your back" to their fellow classmates.

This past week was National Suicide Awareness Week and the Spartans took the opportunity to use it as a way to raise awareness and share a positive message.

Members of the club setup a table at Friday night’s football game between the Spartans and Pine Grove Area Cardinals.

To promote positivity, members of the club distributed candy that will contain a positive message like “Be Kind” and “I’ve got your back”.
