The eighth annual White Coat ceremony was held by the Bloomsburg Department of Nursing on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Haas Center for the Arts on campus.
The White Coat Ceremony celebrates sophomore nursing students who are entering the next phase of their education.
In all, 126 students pledged their commitment to quality patient care an oath that students take in front of family members, faculty, school leaders, and peers.
Out of those 126, 10 nursing students from Schuylkill County received their white coat:
- Amie Ashfield from Barnesville
- Hayley Cunningham from Minersville
- Breyana Garman from Saint Clair
- Shane Martin from Orwigsburg
- Alyssa Mazurek from McAdoo
- Sara Motley from Pottsville
- Katelyn Regec from New Ringgold
- Joie Rodnick from Shenandoah
- Ashley Stetson from Barnesville
- Lauren Zula from Pottsville
