Drug Investigation in Pottsville Leads to Seizure of Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, and Percocet


A Pottsville man is in custody after drugs were seized Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday, November 15, 2022, members of the Pennsylvania State Police, Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office, Drug Task Force and Pottsville City Bureau of Police conducted a joint investigation which resulted in the execution of a Court Authorized Search and Seizure Warrant on a home in Pottsville.

Seized during the search of the residence were quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, marihuana and prescription medicine.

As a result of the aforementioned seizure, Timmy Lamar Coleman, 59, of Pottsville, was charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver (methamphetamine), Possession with the Intent to Deliver (fentanyl), Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), Possession of a Controlled Substance (fentanyl), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Percocet), Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Coleman was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge David Rossi, Tremont. 

Coleman was locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $25,000.00, straight cash bail.
