Frackville Man Charged with Cruelty to Animals in West Penn Township

A Frackville man facing animal cruelty charges in Minersville is now facing new charges for animal cruelty in West Penn Township.

According to West Penn Township Police, on July 20th, 2022, Township Police were contacted by a Township resident regarding an injured kitten. 

The kitten was found in a barn in rough shape. 

According to a veterinarian, the kitten had multiple BB’s inside of its spine rendering the kitten paralyzed.

According to the owner of the kitten, Andrew Lengle was working in their West Penn Township barn earlier that day. His BB gun was found in the barn.

On November 15th, 2022, Andrew Allen Lengle, 28, Frackville, was charged by West Penn Township Police with Cruelty to Animals.

Lengle is also facing charges in Minersville when he was found having sexual intercourse with a dog.  He was currently out on bail waiting for trial.
