One person has died from injuries a crash overnight in Porter Township.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, around midnight, emergency personnel were called to 460 Main Street/Route 125, Porter Township, in Good Spring for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.
State Police say a Toyota Tacoma was traveling north on Route 125 when the driver failed to negotiate a right-hand curve in the roadway and crossed over the double yellow and struck a Mack Tractor Trailer traveling the opposite direction head on.
The driver of the Tacoma sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
Route 125 was closed for several hours overnight while the scene was investigated and cleared.
The identity of the victim was not identified as of this posting.
