The Pennsylvania State Police recently cited three Schuylkill County businesses for selling alcohol to a minor.
According to a report from the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement in Allentown the following three businesses sold alcohol to a 19-year-old on November 19th, 2022.
- Orwigsburg Beer Store, 298 Lincoln Avenue, Orwigsburg
- The Cantina Bar and Grill, 2 E. Adamsdale Road, Schuylkill Haven
- The Beer Shak, 762 South Route 183, Schuylkill Haven
The charges against these businesses will be brought before an Administrative Law Judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.
The judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge.
