As of 9:00pm, Friday, Route 42 near Aristes was closed in Columbia County after a crash.
Just after 6:00pm, Friday, emergency personnel were called to Route 42 near Kline's Reservoir north of Aristes for a motor vehicle accident with fire and entrapment.
Emergency personnel from Columbia County, as well as Ashland from Schuylkill County were called to the scene.
One person has been reported have died in the crash.
The roadway remains closed from Aristes on the south side and Bear Gap Road on the north side while the scene is investigated and cleared. More info when it becomes available.
