A fire destroyed a barn early Sunday near Orwigsburg.
Around 2:30am, Sunday, emergency personnel were called to 40 Sculps Hill Road, West Brunswick Township, for a possible barn fire.
When State Police and Fire Personnel arrived on scene, they reported a fully involved fire with most of the structure already collapsed.
Firefighters fought the fire defensively and had the bulk of the fire under control within an hour.
Property owner Jane Kleinfelter reported that they were sleeping when they were woken up by authorities about the fire. No animals lived in the barn but the family says they lost chicken feed, various tools, and equipment in the fire.
There was no word on a cause as of this posting.
