A man walked away uninjured after a tractor trailer crash in Fountain Springs on Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred just after 8:30am in the area of the American Fire Company at 1 Fountain Street, in Fountain Springs.
According to Butler Township Police, the driver told officers that he was traveling down Route 61 and lost his brakes coming to the intersection with Broad Street.
The truck travelled through the intersection and continued another quarter mile missing several poles and coming to a stop down an embankment next to the fire company.
The driver was out of the vehicle and talking with police. The Pennsylvania State Police Motor Carrier Unit was also at the scene.
The driver was driving a operating for Qnkk Express, Inc. out of Staten Island, NY.
Traffic was not impacted by this crash due to its location.
