Over 3,000 homes are in the dark Tuesday afternoon in Schuylkill County.
According to PPL, as of 4:30pm, 3,144 homes are without power. As the cooler temperatures moved in Tuesday afternoon, the winds picked up and the calls for trees down started coming in.
The largest outage is being reported in the Lavelle area in Butler Township with 1,728.
The 2nd largest is Pine Grove Township with 947 followed by Cass Township with 322.
Other smaller outages include:
- Wayne Township - 49
- West Penn Township - 48
- Washington Township - 31
- Union Township - 12
- West Brunswick Township - 7
PPL says these outages should be restored by 9:00pm Tuesday evening.
