Emergency personnel responded to a crash on the two-miler late Friday.
Around 11:40am, Friday, firefighters from Englewood, Fountain Springs, and Frackville were called to Route 61/Fountain Street at the bottom of the Two-Miler on the Fountain Springs side for a motor vehicle accident.
When fire and police arrived, they found an abandoned Chevrolet truck that had heavy front end damage as a result of slamming into a tree.
The driver had already fled the scene.
Police were able to identify the owner of the vehicle through its registration.
Fire personnel remained on scene until a tow truck arrived and cleared around 12:30am.
Butler Township Police were investigating the crash.
