A man died from injuries he suffered in an accident in his yard on Thursday evening in Butler Township.
Around 5:30pm, Thursday, EMS and Police were called to 708 High Road in Butler Township between Lavelle and Helfenstein for person down.
Fire and Rescue crews would later be called to the scene after it was learned that a tree had fallen onto 68-year-old, Arthur Schicatano.
Crews worked with chainsaws and other tools to free Schicatano, but he was unresponsive.
The Schuylkill County Coroner's Office would later be called to pronounce Schicatano at the scene.
It was learned that Schicatano was working in the yard cutting down trees with a chainsaw when the accident occurred.
Assisting at the scene were the Washington Ambulance, Shenandoah Ambulance, Butler Township Police, Ashland Police, Lavelle Fire, and Washington Rescue.
