Shenandoah Man Faces 100 Counts of Corruption of Minor Charges for Sexual Relationship with Teen

A Shenandoah man remains locked up in Schuylkill County Prison for his sexual relationship with a teen.

According to court documents, Ramon Gonzalez-Colon, 34, of Shenandoah was taken into custody on Friday, March 3rd, 2023, after an investigation found that a 17-year-old teen birthed a child that was conceived by Gonzalez-Colon.

The victim is the daughter of Gonzalez-Colon's girlfriend.

The investigation by Shenandoah Police found that the relationship occurred at their home on West Penn Street in the borough.

As a result of the investigation, Shenandoah Police charged Gonzalez-Colon with 100 counts of corruption of a minor and 30 counts of endangering the welfare of children.

Gonzalez-Colon was arraigned Friday before Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison unable to post $50,000 straight cash bail.

A Preliminary Hearing is scheduled for Thursday, March 30th, 2023, before Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker.
