Shenandoah Man Wanted by Schuylkill County Detectives


Schuylkill County District Attorney Michael O’Pake and the Schuylkill County Detectives are asking the public to help locate a wanted Shenandoah man.

Jose Luis Torres, 36, with a last known address of 110 North Main Street, Shenandoah is wanted on an active bench warrant after failing to appear at the Schuylkill County Courthouse on March 27, 2023 for a sentencing hearing.

Torres original charges include Robbery-Inflict Imminent Bodily Injury – Felony 2, Conspiracy – Robbery-Inflict Imminent Bodily Injury – Felony 2, Robbery–Take Property From Other by Force – Felony 3, Conspiracy–Robbery – Take Property From Other by Force – Felony 3, Theft by Unlawful Taking-Movable Property – Misdemeanor 1, Receiving Stolen Property – Misdemeanor 1, Simple Assault - Misdemeanor 2.

He is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 11 inches in height and weighs approximately 185 lbs.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jose Luis Torres or any other fugitive in Schuylkill County, is asked to call the District Attorney’s Office at 570-628-1350, or Schuylkill County Tip Line at 570-624-3988.

Anyone who may see or come in contact with Jose Luis Torres is asked to call the Schuylkill County 9-1-1 Center immediately.
