On Thursday, May 18, 2023, the Mahanoy City Elks Lodge announced their 2022-2023 Students of the Year.
Those announced were recognized during an awards banquet held by the Elks Lodge.
Throughout the year, two students are selected each month by the school with two from each group being selected at the end of the year as “Student of the Year”. Thursday night's winners each received a certificate and monetary gift from the Elks Lodge.
This year's winners were:
8th Grade Winner - Teagan Kane
8th Grade Winner - Colin Lynch
Senior winner - Arushi Palta
Senior winner - Benjamin Manley
