A Northumberland County woman has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for the overdose death of a Tremont man last year.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven, on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, Troopers made an arrest for an overdose death investigation in the 300 Block of West Main Street in Tremont.
Ashley Fritz, 37, of Shamokin was charged for the death of Sean Tosh, that occurred on August 24, 2022.
The investigation determined that Fritz purchased heroin and delivered it to Tosh.
Fritz was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged with drug delivery resulting in death, criminal use of a communication facility, involuntary manslaughter, and recklessly endangering another person.
She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Davide Rossi and locked up in Schuylkill County Prison on $50,000 straight bail.
