Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash in New Castle Township on Wednesday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred around 1:30pm on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023, on Mount Laffee Road at the intersection with Darkwater Road.
Troopers say Robert McDonald Jr. 58, of Easton was traveling east on Mount Laffee Road driving a Subaru Forester and attempted to turn left onto Darkwater Road when he traveled into the path of Rachel Strohl, 39, of Pottsville driving a Dodge Durango.
Strohl's front end struck the passenger side of the Subaru.
McDonald and Strohl sustained minor injuries in the crash with McDonald being transported by EMS to an area hospital and Strohl being treated at the scene.
A 16-year-old passenger of Strohl's was not injured but was evaluated at the scene.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
