MOUNT CARMEL TOWNSHIP - A man from Schuylkill County has died from injuries he suffered in a crash in Northumberland County last month.
The crash occurred on Friday, July 21st, 2023, around 6:00pm, on the Strong Connector in Mount Carmel Township.
Authorities say Nathan Weaver, 41, of Mount Carmel was driving a Ford F-150 when he crossed the double yellow line and struck Irvin Koons, 62, of Hegins in a Chevrolet Silverado head-on.
Koons was taken to an area hospital in critical condition but died from injuries on Sunday, August 6th.
The crash is still under investigation by Mount Carmel Township Police.
