One person was transported to the hospital after a crash in Pottsville on Sunday.
According to Pottsville Police, on Sunday, October 22nd, 2023, Kelly Steckley, 52, of New York was traveling West on West Market Street in the City.
Alba Veras, 29, of Pottsville was stopped at the intersection of 8th St. and West Market and was attempting to turn East on West Market Street and struck Kelly’s west bound vehicle.
Steckley was transported by Schuylkill EMS to Lehigh Valley Hospital East for further medical evaluation.
West Market Street was briefly closed down due to both vehicles needing towed from the scene.
Alba Veras will be cited for duties at a stop sign as per PA Vehicle Code. The Pottsville Fire Department assisted at the scene.
