A Schuylkill County man died from injuries he sustained in a crash in Berks County on Thursday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Reading, the crash occurred around 5:20pm on Route 183/Bernville Road in the area of the intersection of Old State Road.
Troopers say an unidentified driver and vehicle was driving northbound on Route 183 and crossed over the double yellow line into opposing traffic.
The vehicle struck Seamus Loughran, 65, of Pottsville, head-on, who was driving southbound.
Loughran sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced at the scene by the Berks County Coroner's Office.
Loughran's passenger and the driver of the other vehicle were both transported by EMS for unknown injuries.
The Pennsylvania State Police Troop L Colliion and Reconstruction Specialists investigated the crash.
