Shenandoah Welcomes Parachute Landing Santa and Elves

Mrs. T's Pierogies Sponsors 16th Annual Skydiving Santa Event at Veterans Memorial Field.
In a magical display of festive spirit, Santa Claus made a grand entrance into Veterans Memorial Field in Shenandoah on Friday, marking the 16th Annual Santa Skydiving event sponsored by Mrs. T's Pierogies.

Underneath the sunny skies, Santa, accompanied by his two trusty elves, took to the air for an exhilarating skydiving performance, parachuting into Shenandoah Valley's Veterans Memorial Stadium. The spectacle drew the attention of children and adults alike from across Schuylkill County who eagerly gathered to witness the holiday tradition.

This was the first time in many years where conditions were favorable for Santa to skydive.  In recent years, Santa arrived via helicopter and ATV.

Ensuring that the holiday magic was not confined to the skies, Mrs. Claus, along with Rudolf and Frosty, made a heartwarming pre-arrival appearance at the field, spreading Christmas cheer and setting the stage for the festive occasion.

Dave Smith, the master of ceremonies from Spinjammers, kept the crowd updated on Santa's location and entertained throughout the celebration.

Following his touchdown, Santa Claus was honored with a lively parade led by the Shenandoah Police, Fire Department, and the Shenandoah Valley Band. The procession wound its way to Shenandoah Borough Hall, where Santa met with excited children, posing for photos and creating cherished holiday memories.
