Elderly Pine Grove Township Man Faces Possession of Child Pornography Charges

An elderly Pine Grove Township man is facing felony child pornography charges.

Louis Mazzuka, 93, of Pine Grove Township has been charged with 7 counts each of possessing child pornography, dissemination of child sex acts on photos/film, criminal use of a communications facility.

According to court papers, on January 17th, 2023, State Police received information from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children that Microsoft Online Operations reported the uploading of files of child sexual abuse images.

Tracing of this information led to Mazzuka's home on Canal Drive.

A search warrant was executed at his home that led the seizure of a computer.

Further inspection of his computer by State Police led to the finding of 969 images and 2 video files of child sexual abuse.

When questioned, Mazzuka admitted to viewing adult pornography but denied looking at child pornography.

Mazzuka told investigators that he never touched children and he isn't around children.

He was taken into custody on Wednesday, January 17th, 2024, and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli, who set bail at $50,000 unsecured.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled before Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi on February 8th, 2024.
