Annual Seedling Sale Benefits Sweet Arrow Lake County Park

In anticipation of the 49th Annual Seedling Sale, green thumbs and nature enthusiasts are gearing up for an opportunity to enhance their landscapes while supporting Sweet Arrow Lake County Park.

The seedling sale, a longstanding tradition, offers a diverse selection of trees and shrubs, promising benefits ranging from increased property value to the beautification of the environment.

To participate in this eco-friendly endeavor, interested individuals must place their orders by the deadline of Saturday, March 23, 2024. Orders will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Please note that no cancellations or refunds will be entertained after the deadline.

The much-anticipated drive-thru pick-up is scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the small pavilion located in the Waterfall Road parking area. Visitors will pass the large pavilion, which will be occupied by another group, and can follow the signs for smooth navigation. The address for pick-up is 48 Waterfall Road, Pine Grove.

Organized by "Porcupine Pat" and Kathy Stefanick, the event promises healthy, bare-root seedlings upon pick-up, with a gentle reminder that no guarantees are offered after this date.

The seedlings available at the sale serve multiple purposes, from enhancing wildlife habitats to providing potential income. Among the impressive selection are the following:
