A Pottsville man is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after an incident involving slashing tires and making threats.

According to Pottsville Police, on Friday February 16th, 2024, City Police responded to the 600 block of West Market Street in reference to a disturbance in progress.

While responding to this location, officers were redirected to the 200 block of West Market St in reference to the same disturbance.

Upon arrival, officers located both Pedro LaSanta-Cabrera, 36, of Pottsville and a 44-year-old Schuylkill Haven man in this area.

The Schuylkill Haven man advised officers that Cabrera sliced one of his vehicle tires minutes earlier then challenged him to fight while holding the knife in his hand prior to fleeing on foot.
