Pine Grove Police Investigate Catalytic Converter Thefts, Seek Public Assistance


The Pine Grove Police Department is currently investigating a series of thefts involving catalytic converters in the borough.
According to police reports, the department received two separate reports of catalytic converter thefts. The incidents occurred in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 2nd, 2024. The targeted vehicles were parked on Union Street and Mifflin Street in Pine Grove.

Upon investigation, authorities suspect that a grey-colored Mercedes Benz C-Class sedan may have been involved in the thefts. The vehicle is described as having dual exhausts, a flush-mounted spoiler built into the rear hood, and an inside brake light positioned at the bottom of the rear window.

Pine Grove Police are urging anyone with relevant information or security camera footage to come forward.
