The Buddy’s Babes Softball Team is gearing up for its 7th annual Lucky Draw Basket Raffle, set to take place on Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, at the Pine Grove VFW, located at 140 South Tulpehocken Street.
The two-day fundraising event will run from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. All proceeds will benefit Make-A-Wish® Greater Pennsylvania and West Virginia, helping to grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses right here in Schuylkill County.
A sheet of 25 raffle tickets will be sold for $5, with a special deal available—purchase four sheets and receive a fifth sheet free. Attendees do not need to be present to win, giving supporters a flexible way to participate and contribute.
Buddy’s Babes, proud members of the Moms for Make-A-Wish® softball league, are sponsored by Buddy’s Log Cabin Family Restaurant in Pine Grove. Since their inception, the team has raised nearly $67,000 to support Make-A-Wish through a variety of events, with the Lucky Draw Basket Raffle standing as their premier fundraiser of the year.
Community members are encouraged to attend, support the cause, and take a chance on winning one of the many themed baskets and prizes up for grabs—all while making a meaningful difference in the lives of local children.
