A tractor-trailer hauling trash overturned Wednesday morning at the intersection of Morea Road and Burma Road near Mahanoy City.
The incident occurred around 9:15 AM, causing traffic delays as emergency crews responded to the scene. The truck rolled over, spilling part of its load, but no injuries were reported.
Despite the crash, one lane of traffic on the Burma Road remained open while workers began the process of clearing both the truck and the scattered debris from the roadway.
Tow services operated on-site for several hours to remove the overturned vehicle.
The Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville are investigating.
