McAdoo Woman Jailed on Attempted Homicide Charges After Neighborhood Shooting



A McAdoo woman is behind bars after allegedly firing multiple gunshots during a violent dispute with a neighbor on Tuesday night.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, troopers responded to a report of shots fired around 8:53 PM on June 10th, 2025, on East Blaine Street in McAdoo Borough.

Investigators say a physical altercation broke out between two male neighbors when the wife of one of the men, identified as Jennifer Villa, 51, retrieved a firearm from her home and began shooting at the opposing neighbor.

Troopers allege that Villa fired at least one shot directly at the neighbor’s door and two additional rounds in the direction of the male victim, a 43-year-old McAdoo resident. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Villa was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including two counts of Criminal Attempt – Criminal Homicide, two counts of Aggravated Assault, two counts of Simple Assault, two counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Discharge of a Firearm into an Occupied Structure, and Terroristic Threats with Intent to Terrorize Another.

Following her arraignment before Magisterial District Judge Stephen Bayer, Villa was committed to Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $500,000 straight cash bail.
