The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Schuylkill County.
(June 26th, 2025) - FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following areas:
  • Adams
  • Columbia
  • Cumberland
  • Dauphin
  • Juniata
  • Lancaster
  • Lebanon
  • Lycoming
  • Montour
  • Northumberland
  • Perry
  • Schuylkill
  • Snyder
  • Sullivan
  • Tioga
  • Union
  • York.

* WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Slow moving thunderstorms may produce locally heavy rainfall this afternoon through the late evening. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches over a short duration are possible in the watch area.
