“Hometown Pottsville” Art Show Reception – July 10th
The SCHS will kick off the month with the opening reception of “Hometown Pottsville,” a special exhibition featuring the work of the Keystone Arts Collective. The collection celebrates the most beloved views of Pottsville and its surrounding areas. The event is free to the public and will take place at 6 pm on Thursday, July 10th. Genealogy Workshop for Kids – July 19th
On Friday, July 19th at 11 am, the SCHS will host a Genealogy Workshop for Kids. This interactive session will introduce children to the basics of family history research and teach them how to create a family tree. The workshop is designed to inspire young minds to explore their ancestral roots. Paper Quilling Workshop with Marky Barto – July 24th
Local artist Marky Barto will lead a paper quilling workshop on Wednesday, July 24th at 6 pm. Participants will have the chance to craft their own paper quilled ornament to take home.
