On the initial dispatch, heavy black smoke was coming from the home and working fire was advised.
Crews from multiple departments, including Englewood, Frackville, Shenandoah and Mahanoy City, responded promptly and began operations. The fire was brought under control by 7:45 PM.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined as of late Saturday.
It is currently unknown if the occupants were home at the time of the fire or if anyone was displaced. No injuries were reported.
