Marian Catholic High School has formally initiated the process to identify its next Head of School, with the announcement of a newly formed Search Committee that will oversee a national search for the position.
The school aims to have its new leader in place by July 2026 or earlier, depending on candidate availability and mutual agreement.
According to the school’s Board of Directors, the search will focus on finding an individual who can uphold Marian’s longstanding traditions rooted in Catholic faith, academic excellence, and community engagement, while also guiding the institution into its next chapter.
The Search Committee comprises alumni, parents, faculty, staff, clergy, and community leaders, all with strong ties to Marian. The school has emphasized that the process will be both inclusive and transparent, involving broad input from various stakeholders. Listening sessions are scheduled for September 29, 30, and October 1, 2025, to gather feedback from students, faculty, parents, and alumni.
“We are committed to a thoughtful, inclusive, and transparent search process,” said Sr. Rose Mulligan, IHM, a Marian graduate and Co-Chair of the Search Committee. “Listening to the voices of those who hold Marian close to their hearts is critical as we seek a leader who will steward our school into its next chapter.”
The search aims to attract qualified candidates from across the country who demonstrate a commitment to Marian’s mission and values, including faith-based leadership, academic and spiritual development, and support for extracurricular activities.
