Schuylkill County Man Wanted After Skipping Court on Felony Registration Charges

A man, reported to currently reside in Tamaqua, is wanted after failing to appear in court last month to answer to felony charges related to failing to register as required by law.

Colby Leon Ramirez, 25, did not show up for a status conference scheduled at the Schuylkill County Courthouse on June 26, 2025. As a result, a bench warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Ramirez faces charges of Failing to Register with the Pennsylvania State Police and Failure to Verify Address and be Photographed, both classified as third-degree felonies.

He is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. His last known address was 301 Biddle Street, Tamaqua.

Anyone who has information about Ramirez’s location or who sees him is asked to call the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office at 570-628-1350, the Schuylkill County Tip Line at 570-624-3988, or Schuylkill County 9-1-1 immediately. Tips can also be sent by email to dadd@co.schuylkill.pa.us.

Ramirez's charges (failure to verify address and be photographed) are related to corruption of minors and possession of child pornography charges by Shenandoah Police in 2021.  Ramirez was documented to have lived in Lost Creek near Shenandoah at the time of the charges being filed in 2021.

Ramirez was also wanted on parole violations in 2024.
