Pottsville Woman Charged After Police Find 100+ Bags of K2

A Pottsville woman is facing multiple felony drug charges following a raid early Friday morning on South 2nd Street.
According to the Pottsville Bureau of Police, on August 22, 2025, around 6:30 a.m., city police and members of the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 304 S. 2nd Street, Apartment 1, as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation that began in May.

Investigators say controlled purchases of synthetic cannabinoids, commonly known as K2 or Spice, were made from the apartment of Marlene Haller, 58. The substances were tested at the Pennsylvania State Police Laboratory and confirmed to contain ADB-BUTINACA and 5-fluoro ADB, both Schedule I controlled substances.

During the search, officers reportedly seized 101 individual bags of K2/Spice, a one-gallon bag containing suspected bulk K2/Spice, a small amount of methamphetamine, a digital scale, new packaging materials, assorted drug paraphernalia, and $1,439 in cash.

Investigators also noted that Haller admitted she had been selling K2/Spice for more than a year, estimating she supplied $10 and $20 bags to approximately 10 customers per day from her apartment.

Haller was taken into custody on an unrelated Schuylkill County bench warrant and lodged in Schuylkill County Prison. She now faces additional charges of:
  • Possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (felony)
  • Delivery of a controlled substance (felony)
  • Possession of a controlled substance (misdemeanor)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia (misdemeanor)
