The sun is rising on the final day of the 2025 Schuylkill County Fair.
Schuylkill County Day, sponsored by Explore Schuylkill, is packed from morning to night with events that highlight local agriculture, community pride, and live entertainment.
The action begins bright and early at 8 a.m. with the Open Horse Show in the Equine Arena. At 9 a.m., registration opens for the Antique Tractor Pull, which officially gets underway at 10 a.m. near the Ag Museum Track.
The fairgrounds open to the public at 11 a.m., just in time for one of the biggest agricultural events of the week—the 4-H and FFA Master Showman Contest at the Ag Arena.
At 1:30 p.m., the Tractor Parade will once again make its way through the fairgrounds from the Main Gate.
Families can enjoy cowboy and cowgirl mini-pictures at the Horse Barn from 2 to 4 p.m., while young livestock handlers prepare for the final Livestock Judging contest, which begins at 3 p.m. in the Ag Arena.
By 4 p.m., Goodtime Amusements will fire up the midway for one last evening of rides, games, and classic fair food. Also at 4 p.m., little royalty will strut their stuff in the Princess Parade, followed by the Kiddie Parade at 5 p.m.—both starting at the Main Gate.
Evening events begin at 6 p.m. with the Keystone Herpetological Institute hosting a live reptile and amphibian demonstration in the Wildlife Pavilion. At 7 p.m., the Horse Barn will host a final Equine Demonstration, while DJ Chicken Nugget returns to the Ag Arena to lead line dancing, sponsored by Kistler Excavation, LLC.
The grand finale on the Main Stage begins at 7 p.m. with the first of two performances by Classic Skynyrd Live, performed by Southern Steel. Sponsored by C.T. Electric, LLC, the tribute band will play again at 9 p.m., delivering all the southern rock energy fans expect.
