Bench Warrant Issued for Schuylkill County Man that Failed to Report to Prison

A Pottsville man is wanted in Schuylkill County after failing to report to prison last month to begin serving a court-ordered sentence.
Robert Behney, 62, did not appear at the Schuylkill County Prison on July 21, 2025, as directed by the Schuylkill County Court of Common Pleas. A bench warrant has since been issued for his arrest.

Behney was originally charged with:

• Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance – Impaired Ability (Misdemeanor 1)
• Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine (Misdemeanor)

He is described as a White, non-Hispanic male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing around 180 pounds. His last known address is 206 North 2nd Street, Pottsville, PA.
