Frances C. Pritulsky, 88, of McAdoo, entered into eternal rest Thursday morning in Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas, PA.
Born in Nanticoke, PA, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Clara (Miller) Musial.
She was the wife of Jospeh F. Pritulsky with whom she celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary on June 8th of this year.
In addition to being a homemaker Frances shared her skills and love with her family and volunteered in her community. Though never being a Girl Scout as a child, she was a Girl Scout leader in McAdoo for over 20 years. She enjoyed inspiring young girls to learn life skills. She also helped in McAdoo’s 75th anniversary celebration as member of the Diamond Bells.
She was an excellent seamstress and crafter. She made wedding dresses for her daughters and other family members. She was an avid cross stitcher providing treasured gifts of her work to her family and friends.
She enjoyed cooking and baking. She shared these talents and spent several years cooking dinners for the parish priests at St Patrick’s church.
She was a member of Church of All Saints, McAdoo.
She always had a warm welcome for everyone who came to her home.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, and will be greatly missed by all.
Preceded her in death was a sister Bernadine Cragle and Clara Pritulsky.
Surviving along with her husband Jospeh, are daughters, Karen Ziolkowski of Hanover Twp., Joanne O’Connor, and husband Joseph of Springfield, VA, and Debora Ervin, and husband Mark of Pennsburg, PA; a sister Nancy Kirschner, and husband Carl of Gilbertsville, PA; grandchildren Megan, Eileen, Jessie, Emily, and Allen; great grandchildren Harper, Ellie, Lia and Wesley; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 8th, at 10:00 A.M. in the Church of All Saints, 21 N. Cleveland St., McAdoo, PA 18237 with Rev. Barnabas Shayo officiating.
A calling hour will be held Friday morning from 9 to 10 A.M. in the Church.
Interment will be held in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, McAdoo.
Doris E. (Cheeks) Stufflet, 96, of Topton, PA., formerly of New Ringgold, PA, passed away on July 27, 2025 at the Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Sterling E. Stufflet, who passed away in 2011. Born in Augusta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Harris) Cheeks.
Doris devoted her life to caring for her family and home. As a homemaker, she poured her heart into creating a warm and welcoming home. She attended Jacob’s Church in New Tripoli, PA.
Doris is survived by her daughter-in-law, Susan Stufflet of New Ringgold; her grandsons, Douglas and Matthew Stufflet; her great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Addison, and Emma Stufflet; and several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her siblings, a generation now reunited. Doris was predeceased by her beloved son, Robert E. Stufflet, and her seven siblings.
There will be a memorial graveside service held at the convenience of the family at Fogelsville Union Cemetery. Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate.
Josephine Regina (Avenoso) Graff, 92, of 1413 Chestnut St., passed away on July 28, 2025, at her residence.
Born in Shenandoah on March 19, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Inez (Juliani) Avenoso.
On March 10, 1957, Josephine married the late Paul Vincent Graff. As the devoted wife of a U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, she embraced the life of a military spouse and homemaker with pride and grace. Together, they made homes in Germany, Turkey, Texas, and Hawaii.
Josephine was a member of the Catholic faith.
Josephine is survived by her son, Bruce Graff and wife, Diane of Kulpmont; a daughter, Pauletta (Graff) Chabal and husband, John of MD; a granddaughter, Brianne Graff; two sisters, Eleanor (Orlosky) Avenoso and Theresa (Israel) Avenoso; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of C J Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, PA 17834, Ashley P. Doyle, Supervisor.
