SHENANDOAH - A Shenandoah man is facing multiple charges after police say he threatened to kill someone, took their phone to prevent them from calling for help, and then fled into a wooded area on Saturday afternoon.
According to the Shenandoah Borough Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Oak Street around 4:09 p.m. on August 9, 2025, for a report of a domestic incident involving threats and physical contact.
Police say Aneudio Centeno Andujar, 41, confronted the victim outside a residence, yelling accusations and grabbing the person by the shoulders while making statements about not being afraid to spend decades in prison for killing her. Andujar then allegedly ripped a cellphone from the victim’s hand to stop them from calling 911, prompting the victim to run to a nearby home to seek help.
When officers arrived, they learned Andujar had fled toward a wooded area west of the scene. While patrolling the area, police spotted him along the wood line in the 200 block of South Market Street. As officers approached, Andujar reportedly waved toward the patrol vehicle before running into the woods.
Following a brief foot chase, officers apprehended Andujar without incident.
He was charged with robbery, terroristic threats, and flight to avoid apprehension.
Andujar was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Andrew Serina and committed to Schuylkill County Prison on $75,000 straight cash bail.
